I was there the summer of Katrina, I actually did an experiment in the lab using spodopter exigua (the larvae ofthe beet army beetle), I was testing the alelochemicals that had been isolated from the piper imeriale (a rainforest plant). So I didn't get to study any of the local butterflies. Dyer is very knowleadgeable and easy to work with.
