Thanks, TJin, You will get a kick out of this, i think.smile...One morning two little boys came into my classroom with a pail filled with frogs. Now, I'm not a fan of frogs, Nonetheless, I had to pretend that those little creatures, my two second graders carried into the classroom were the best thing since my mom apple pie. I said to them just what is missing from todays science lesson plans. I need you two to set up the center...They did a grand job with, books, and suggested that they will draw photos of the frogs. they fed them. that's when i knew I must cut the lesson short after a week. they did learn a lot about frogs, the many types, places where they live etc. I strongly suggested that they must be free and live where they would be happy. whew!!!
