You need to get feedback from someone you trust you writes in your genre. Do you have a writer's group? Is there a critiquer you can hire? Sounds like you're just swamped. Maybe also putting it away for a few days or a week, then coming back to it. Also, check out Miss Snark's blog (no longer active, but it's still up) - she's an agent and if you look in her "Snarkives" you can find examples of queries and why they were good or bad. view link
