I wonder how far that Wrights Brothers Memorial is from Topsail? I like to take short field trips when we're down, of course, with gas prices like they are I've told the kids when we get down there we're there to stay. Last year we took a drive into Myrtle Beach - boy has that place changed - use to vacation there as a child - my daddy has an aunt and uncle that live there (poor things); went to the NC Aquarium at Fort Fisher and we've toured the Battleship in Wilmington. I would really love to see a lighthouse. I've been taking a different route so don't go through Asheville anymore but I would love to see that Biltmore House. Ummmmmm - maybe we could do that on the trip down - now you got me thinkin'.
