I was writing some comments on the Veteran's Groups about recognizing Veteran's Day coming soon. I saw that you were in Vietnam as was my husband. I wish you the best, as I know from my husband's words that Vietnam was not a good place to be.
Thanks again for your welcoming message in Wisconsin Oldies/Goodies. Took a look at your profile and see that we have much in common. I used to live in South Milwaukee (late '80s), love the Beatles, was married (a long time ago) to a military man (he just missed Vietnam by a month or so...lucky him)! Looks like our politics are similar too (loved the bumper sticker)!
Question for you, what are you doing building a Russian summer home in Wisconsin? Well, why not? One of my favorite places is Little Norway near Madison...lots of little cabins in a small valley. Yes, I am 100% Norwegian, but American first. Are you of Russian decent?
