I thank you all for the care and concern and well wishes. Yes, this has been difficult and will be even more so as we begin to move this through the courts. There are days I wish I could hide forever and other days when strength from above has kept me going. Fortunately I have a good support group and terrific therapist that are helping me make it through. My wife and I are now separated and the hardest part about that was watching her take two of our dogs. It is tough, but I am trying to take it one day at a time. Prayers help. :)
JasonE, I do not know you, but anyone with 6 dogs can not be bad to know! We have 10! Husy-labs, as my 77yr. husband was a musher, running the dogs in the woods behind our house. Now he no longer runs, but these 4 legged kids of ours are rotated in and out of the house, and make the saying "we have gone to the dogs!"
I just read your news on the tech. site, Jason as I was catching up on late eons. I am very sorry your world is crumbling right now. Having had a stressed relationship with my late husband, and see not only his health deteriorate, but our marriage hanging by the thread of his poor health keeping it together, I can imagine the heart ache, feelings of low worth and sadness you are experiencing because I was there, to, while trying to keep the 3 kids above water. Each grieves, copes, and reacts in their own way, but if I had not had my faith, parishioners and prayer, I would have gone under. The road gets easier, but slowly. Keeping in touch with those closest to you, even when you do not feel up to it, is most important. And all the eons folks sound like they have their hearts open to all of us. God Bless, you are now in my prayers. Pat
