Hi, I pretty much have the same thing going on. For me I know it is to interseed in prayer for these people that I see. I have even had the privillege to meet them on rare ocasions and for them to tell about some situation they were in. I consider it a great privilege and I take it serious.

You're a little hard on the Detroi autot industry. Granted They've had some clunkers but Ford in particular has seen this coming and has a well engineered line-up and has been building up its pipeline. In that line of though William Ford realizing brought in a new CEO (replacing himself) from the outside. The entire company was mortgaged to get them through the redevelopment and restructuring that had to occur. It is that cash that is seeing them through this depression as they continue with their rebuilding. Hopefully the country will come out if its doldrums before the company needs to borrow any public funds.

General Motors was plodding along the same path. Chrysler was looted by Daimler and then sold to a "strip and flip" company, Cerberus, who due to the economy is still stuck with it. Its agreement with Fiat may make a viable company.

I know many people who do or did work in the auto industry. They all did have one thing in common. They took pride in the industry. When they see it getting beaten up in congress on TV they take it personally. They know very well they don't build junk and further, they resent being told they do particularly when Toyota has been leading in recalls the couple of years.

Well, I've vented
