I read your profile, checked your site and your interview. I must say you are amazing. And so talented. I share a deep concern with you over human trafficking and abuse. I skirted Kyrgestan on a train once between Kazakstan and Russia.
I have loved and lost the love of my life. Her name was Peggy and she had epilepsy, as do I. Going Without Peggy is the book that tells our story. Romance & marriage... yes we eloped! Her parents thought that my epilepsy would add to her problems as an epileptic and they never realised that we had each found someone who could understand without words what we had been through as children, as adults and would continue to go through on a day to day basis throughout the rest of our lives. We had 17 wonderful years together until cancer struck.... It's a story of love and loss - even premonition! It's a book of High Romance where prose and poetry take turns telling the tale. It's also a Tragedy that will bring very real tears to your eyes, even more so since you can identify with the disability that we shared. It tells a tale of survival, not only of the difficulties of living with a disability, but also of coping and coming back when the absolute worst that can happen does happen! Many people have told me that they read this book straight through until they were finished... Then they went back and read it again!
