thank you....floor clothes are done on canvas.....really the only thing I paint that I need to measure and scheme and plan....I like things to just flow but floor clothes demand more, plus 4-5 layers of varnish on the top of the acrylic paint. I mount my canvas on a wood frame to keep it in shape and flat. The corners need to be mitered as well and there is a certain method so I have to pay attention to what step I'm on. These clothes make very resilient items that can be scrubbed!!! Very wearable and child friendly!!
Maine barns, after this winter, have really suffered, especially here in "the county"... Riding about yesterday to see the snow banks of roads that have been closed since the last storm, I saw two barns buckled in the middle with their timbers pointing up to the sky.... very sad to see these old things go down!!! Thanks for your comment!!
You didn't Mutter that Softly, did you, Talented Anne? I just need to adjust to the possibility of you being a 'Meter matters' muter Mutter Motor . . .
I'm sure she was so pleased. I did one for a neighbor of an image of her mother and her when she was about 5yr old. It was the only image she had with her and her mother. She too was so pleased. That's what makes it fun for me.
I put Dimitri's photo on my profile. He , like most yellow cats was just the best! I am an artist too. I am self taught and I have some of my paintings posted on my profile pictures. I would love for you to see them. I do come from a long line of artists on my Dad's side of the family so maybe it's inherited. Who knows? Vickie
