Well, Michael, The photo is in NORTHERN California.. Monterey County.. about 10 minutes from Salinas and 10 minutes from Monterey & Carmel. Carmel Valley is an amazing area.. lots of mountains.. country, horses, cows, vineyards, and minutes from the ocean. Although southern Ca has it's beauty.. and having lived in both southern and northern ca, I would choose northern Ca in a "hot flash"!!! :) but, that's me.. Love the lupin.. in the fields, the mtns to the sea, Big Sur.. and the surreal beauty .. and temperate climates all year. Check it out.. www.montereyca.com Best, Kristen
