Hi Dave I recently viewed your profile and artwork and admire your work. Your creativity is really working for you. I have never tried the art of jewelry making although it looks very interesting. I do most of my work now on canvas (and on various types of wood) with gold, silver and verigated gold leaf, however I do many other forms of art as well ( wood carving, wood burning, glass etching to name a few ). Sometimes I experiment with many different mediums to see what I can come up with that may be something new. The paintings I do are mostly of nature in style although I have done some female figures lately for an art exhibit here. Keep up the beautiful artwork and congrats for your determination of life!
Hi Dave, I was born in Atl, then moved to Waynesboro, where I am now. I do have lots of family spread out north to south, east to west aound Atl! It is fast paced... nothing like I'm use to now. However, the most I do get there is to see my grandson, Blake. Blake and his mom & dad live in Powder Springs. You've got a GREAT "About Me" post!!! See ya around! Kathleen
I took a look at your other site/etsy, & your jewelry is beautiful....great work...I love the peridot necklace & earrings since that is my birthstone...Keep up the great designing...
Hi Dave, Like you, I am fairly new here and looking for friends to communicate with. I also am divorced (2 years) and have found that I really like the independence of being single. Just bought a new house about 6 months ago and am in the process of finding out my decorating visions. I live in West Virginia. Do you ever do craft shows up here? It's usually a great place for shows. Congratulations on finding your way and becoming sober. I'm sure that it must have been a long, lonely struggle. Take care and keep posting. Paula
Good morning, Dave... I'm another one of those "newbies" on here. Your comments & pic caught my eye and I read your profile and I thank you for your honesty & candidacy... I'm also divorced and have had some lovely relationships.... but alas, like you, I've decided that I'm not looking for a life partner - just some good friends.... been independent & on my own too long. Well, sorta' on my own. I actually live with my cat, Lilly. I pay the mortgage, but she runs the place. . . . Now, I'll "CUL" if I can find my way BACK here. Carla.....
