I volunteered and voted for you. It felt like Christmas, my birthday and winning the lottery all at once when you made your acceptance speech. The only difference is that I still have to work, LOL. I wish you the very best for you and your family on the next 4 years and may God bless you.
I did not vote for you, but I do accept and pray for you to have a successful presidency. I hope that you will address students that are expelled from schools, as to the fact that schools must pay for the education in another setting. It seems to me that the parents should foot the bill. My favorite quote is by me. It is "Education should be a privilege that all are entitled to, until they infringe upon the rights of others to get an education." Yes, I am a teacher. Throwing money at the problems will not fix problems. Common sense in dealing with disruptive behaviors will.
I'm sure I speak for many when I say that your campaign showed something of your character and if that is true, I feel safe to believe in my country's government once again. It has been a long time since that has been possible. Thank you for persevering and getting us all to this point. I will be praying for you and your family for continued success and wisdom.
I wish you every good thing in your coming transition. It will be hard work winning over the "fuddy duddy's" but the fight is so worth it. It will be wonderful to have a nation that is united in working for the same goals.
