I have the greatest respect for Barack Obama, an American. I am assuming his father gained citizenship status and that Barack was born in the United States. If the birth part is right, Barack is not an African-American. He is an American, period. One of the things that tends to keep racial relations in a state of tension is failure to recognized that we all, unless not born here or not a child of American citizens, we all are Americans. Being "Politically Correct" only exacerbates, it does not heal.

I am hoping that he is our future. A new direction that takes care of the people of our country first and foremost. I am hoping that he is all I think he is. Honest, forthright, and committed for the long haul. I am watching him closely with a hope that I can give him my vote.

What a bunch of CROC! He conveniently forget to mention his Muslin upbringing! Much of what he claims has been proven "untrue" He must have learned to lie from Bill Clinton!

clinton!

First of all, it would have been nice if the man had taken the time himself to write this up, as you can see he did not. Something that could have shown us that he would be willing to sit down and do, well wasn't done. He did not take the time to write and let us know him personally instead his publicist or campaign managers did it. That shows me that he wasn't interested in being here or interested in us getting to know him. If he really wanted votes, then he should've taken the time or at least had a decent publicist write it up as if he was involved in doing it. Thumbs down on this one! Don't see him being true to the people!
