I too am a southern transplant. It's taking some getting used to (things like not planting tomatoes in January!) and convincing people I really really REALLY do not take sugar in my iced tea, but on those mornings when the mist hangs from the trees, lace left by a heedless night child wearing her party dress in the garden..I'm home.....
