GOD IS GOOD!


We have again witnessed first hand one of GOD'S MIRACLES.

As you know Larry had his second eye surgery and implant yesterday
morning. The surgery went smoothly and he was in, out and back home by 11 a.m.

Around 4 p.m. Larry began having extreme pain in the eye, so I called the doctor and he told me to bring Larry in. The doctor checked Larry's eye (It looked really inflamed, swollen and appeared to even have a hole in it.) The doctor told us that 1 in 5 cases sometimes have a sensitivity to the beta-dine that they use to disinfect the eye before surgery. The doctor put some drops in it and checked his vision which was 20/200 (all Larry could see at the time was blurred shapes) He gave Larry a prescription for pain pills, put the patch back on and told me to bring Larry back in this morning.

This morning when the doctor removed the patch, Larry's eye looked just like it did after his first surgery, a little red, but all of the swelling was gone and the eye looked good. The doctor left the room and the nurse tested Larry's vision and it was 20/30. When the doctor came back and looked at the results he asked the nurse if she was sure about the test, she said she was so the doctor accepted it, but he had a very strange look on his face. The nurse picked up on it and told the doctor she would re-check the eye. She repeated the test with the doctor present. Results: 20/30 The doctor tried to be very composed and professional, but from the look on his face, I knew he just didn't believe what he saw. His only comment was that he didn't expect the results to be so good. By this time there were two nurses in the room. They started to leave and I told them to wait, they turned to look at me and I said, GOD IS GOOD! They all agreed.

We are back home now, the patch is gone and Larry is pain free.
