I love your art website! You're multi-talented!

I finished my piece for the "Dogs in Canada" website and sent it off with the invoice. :-) Onward!

I'm so glad to hear that today is a much better day for you! :-)

I'm trying to find enough time for everything! I have a wonderful group on Facebook with experts leading most discussions. It's such a warm, friendly group of animal lovers. :-) I also have a fan page there. I enjoy it. :-) I also discovered blip and have that linked to my Twitter account so people who follow me are getting a sampling of my taste in music. It's nice to be able to listen to the tunes that I enjoy and share them.

I hope the rest of your day was wonderful!

Darlene

Hi Gene,
I hope you finally got the refill situation straightened out! I return old cartridges to Staples and take the discount on new ones.
I finally got rid of the last headache and I'm trying to finish an online article for "Dogs in Canada" that I'd really like to e-mail to the editor today. I write their magazine's behavior column. It appears every other month with something on their website on alternate months.
We had the most horrible storms for the past two days. In fact, yesterday we had a tornado warning. Enough is enough. We have yet to see Summer!!!
How awful that they can't find your books. I haven't even explored that site.

Gene, I so well remember that studio. I knew about the commercials filmed there, and Dick Van Dyke's show, but that's all.
I was an actress/singer/dancer and occasional choreographer. I was classically trained (ballet and voice) but did several forms of dance and really wanted musical theatre, however, I never looked like an ingenue and most actors are SHORT. LOL I'm 5'10" which made it rather interesting. I was a character actress. I think some of the most fun I had was doing voice-overs for various companies. Were those the best years of my life? I don't know. Maybe, "It was the best of times, it was the worst of times." ;-) It was an interesting experience.

I moved on to celebrity profiles and behind-the-scenes features. I spent a good deal of time on Hollywood backlots, actors' homes, etc. Of course, the really telling thing about me is that more than once a well-known person decided to make an "entrance" in their own home. That might have worked well with other members of the press but by the time they "arrived" in the room, I was on the floor playing with their dog and a frantic press agent was trying to get my attention. LOL

I doubt that you'd recognize my name from the dark ages. It was, and is, Darlene Arden.

My life has moved in some interesting directions. Were they what I planned? Hardly. LOL Sometimes I think I'm just a silver ball in a giant pinball machine, pushed and shoved helter-skelter around the game board of life. ;-)

I'm really glad we've met! And to think, just over a week ago I'd never heard of EONS!

Warmly,

Darlene
