With all the sad stories of folks who can't afford their dogs and are turning them over to shelters, and the difficulty and cost of keeping and placing these dogs, I had an idea. If you think this has merit, please send it on to those who may have some influence. Thank you.
If individuals or groups, ,petfood manufacturers, pet supply stores, etc. would donate one year's supply of dogfood and the cost of one vet visit and shot, many a dog could be kept with its owner this year. Let's start a campaign to donate enough to keep one dog with its owner this year. This would be a great campaign for Petco and PetsMart and Purina and Iams and many others, and for rescue groups to sponsor. Even youth groups could support this effort. If you like this idea, please make it happen this year.

from an enlargement of the heart and the treatment required to save him was very
expensive. I simply had no financial support to afford it and Ted paid the price. If
only I was aware about view link maybe Ted would have still
been with me. I hope all pet owners will seriously consider the alternative and get
an insurance cover for their pets, so another Ted somewhere, does not lose his life
due to lack of funds.” - Michael Owens (Ex-dog owner.)
