haha, well no wonder you are confused, I think thats a wrinkle in its shirt not the babies ear which was not in the picture that I drew from. Thanks for the comment and for being so kind.
Thank you....I think you are right. I have done this subject a number of times and can not quite get it right. The sand does have detail in it that does not show here as its under glass but I know what you mean and I might try it again. Thank you
Violet was my first attempt with mixed media on canvas. The children's illustrations shall be totally different...still in the process of thinking it through...nothing on paper yet. Still feel I'm headed in a totally new direction with them.
