Just want to say thanks for posting comment on my "Path thru the woods". You have more intuition than you might think, I think! That pic has much more behind it, and your artist perception came right thru. Bravo!
Your work is great. You commented on my pastels and I appreciate the kind words. I use all kinds. I start with nupastel then move to softer like rembrandts and save the expensive schminke and such for only the final highlights. (too stingy to waste them) I also use sanded paper to get more tooth and hold enough layers. I tend to blend too much.
