On what has become a solemn day of American unity to me, I share with you a reminder to us all that there is no place so dark which God's light may not reach. I join hands with you this day, as we walk in the light of our God's love.
His light overcomes the darkness, "and the darkness comprehended it not."
May God's justice prevail in our lives, granting us shelter from those who wish to harm us.
My prayers are with you, MindingOurElders. This week, I am reminded of Corrie Ten Boom's affirmation written while confined to a Nazi concentration camp; "I believe in God even when the sun is not shining." What I recongnize in my Spirit is that the sun always shines, though sometimes it may be hidden from view by the clouds. I will allow my Spirit to look above the clouds on this blessed Friday and you are invited to join me in looking above the clouds. Thanks for being my dear Friend, MindingOurElders. Keep bringing your special brand of sunshine to the world. Your words are rays of sunshine to many, including me. Much love always.
