Thanks for answering my books & travel post! I know what you mean about husbands, it took me many years to convince my husband that we could do his non-stop, burn up the highway getting there trips, but on the way home we get to take side trips...given the time....now he likes it. But at first, he hated to stop for potty breaks!! Is that a guy thing ya think?

After Anne Tyler's husband died, her books took a different "tone". I loved her earlier works, Clock Winder and Morgan's Passing are two that come to mind. Almira
