Hi, A very dear friend of mine Lynda Perdue, bunnyfartslynda told me about you. I lost my sight in my left eye recently due to histoplasmosis, which I have never heard of till now. I fear the loss of the other eye and am trying my best to deal with becoming used to seeing with one eye only. I am wondering how you continue to do what you do with no sight. My mom has macular degeneration and is legally blind in both eyes and she is an inspiration to me. She, however does not or has ever used a computer and I do in my job as an elementary school secretary and also as enjoyment and interaction with other people. How do you continue to use your computer with no sight? Are there aids to help me see better with one eye? Do you know anything about histoplasmosis? I know, a lot of questions but I am trying my best to sort this all out in my head and come to terms with what it means for my future. Any response would be much appreciated.
