The de' Medici were perhaps that greatest impetus of the Italian Renaissance--most especially Cosimo , Lorenzo and Cosimo I de' Medici, Grand Duke of Tuscany. These men created in environment where artists, engineers and scientist of the day could flourish. That is the intention of this group.
