I have lived in Sacramento for about 17 years. I'm originally from the East coast. My husband & I moved for health reasons, and love most things about our new home. We both like to write fiction. We used to like planting trees and gardenting, but we don't have any room left any more! We have two grown sons, and two grandchildren, with a new one due in July.
Activities
reading fiction: Anne Tyler, Joyce carol Oats, detective novels, Rick Riorden, anything, I'll give it a chance. I'm reading something new by a young writer, Aryn Kyle, The God of Animals.
Favorite Music
Classic rock - I particularly like Credence Clearwater, Fleetwood Mack and The Grateful dead.
Favorite TV Shows
I catch old movies on TNN, and watch what's experiemental on HBO
Favorite Movies
They come and go. I loved "Moby Dick." What year was that? Every time I watched it I saw something different.
Favorite Books
I keep re-reading old stuff I used to study in college, ee cummings, and I have a liking for Charles Bukowski
Favorite Places
anyplace by a salt water beach. I love the shore.
