Favorite Music
I'm all about big band, swing, boogie woogie, and zoot suit music of the 1920s thru 1950s, and also enjoy some of the recent Big Band revival. In addition, I enjoy the Great American Standards as popularized by Rod Stewart and Willie Nelson (Stardust Album). I grew up during the middle years of Rock and Roll and still like the Golden Oldies of that venue. Since there are no radio stations locally who play my kind of music, I have taken advantage of Pandora.com and created 15 personal channels. I also have a considerable collection of big band/swing music on the old 33 albums for listening to in my office, along with CDs for enjoying on the road. Pandora.com is a free service, with a paid option that removes the ads. Since I listen with the page in the background, the ads don't matter.
