Places I've been
I love to travel in the US. There is enough beauty to see in the USA to last a lifetime. I have been to Illinois, Iowa, Ohio, Tennessee, Alabama, Kentucky, Georgia, Florida, Nevada, Virginia, Washington DC, North and South Carolina, and I love Wisconsin the best, although I have never been to Arizona I have heard is wonderful if you live in northern AZ. I hope to live in the warmer climates of the US during the winter months once I retire. Summers in Wisconsin are nice, but the winters suck.

More about me

 I want to find "love" again. The love of a man who will make me feel I am special. I realize that I want to smile and laugh again. There is a big world out there and I need to start doing things to see more of it and enjoy my family and life.  

I have  improved my education and job in the last year. I went back to school and took a job as a Residential Coordinator working with developmentally challenged individuals. It makes me realize that even though I am a widow life can still offer a chance to help others and that makes my sadness easier to deal with.

My husband passed away on Sept. 2, 2010 of lung cancer. You get a whole new perspective on what is important in life when something like this disease comes along.

 

 

 

 

Activities
* Reading mysteries, police procedurals' who-done-its and some biographies. * Dancing (I even just dance around the house sometimes) Dance makes life happy. * Doing Geneolagy. * NASCAR, before my husband became sick we traveled to many places and attended races all over; also had season tickets to Talledega Race in Lincoln AL (a great place), Bristle, TN, Indianapolis and Las Vegas. * Red Hat Society (not as much any more, but sometimes I can get together with the girls).
