Raised and educated in L.A., since age 7.  U.C.L.A. undergrad, Loyola Law School law degree. Worked my way through college as a folk singer, during the glorious 60s.

Working life time divided between performing and teaching as a jazz musician, playing saxophones/clarinet/flutes, and practicing law.  Now, semi-retired and spending most of my time with music and friends.

Live aboard a yacht in Marina del Rey, with my cat, "Big Phil."  Very happily divorced for more than 20 years, with no interest in marriage or dating.  No chains, or restrictions!
