I'm 62 years old, a somewhat outspoken atheist, married to the same man (also an atheist) for 42 years. We've lived just outside Seattle, Washington...and by that I mean a few blocks...for 33 of them. If you have to live in a city, this is the best one in the world.

Okay, I haven't been to all the cities in the world, but still...

We have one daughter, two granddaughters and two great granddaughters. The Other Half would probably have appreciated a few more males in the mix, but he likes us anyway. The feeling is mutual.

I love music, books, my family, my garden, cooking, factual information, my computer and online debate/discussions; not necessarily in that order. I dislike far-right politics (although I'm not actually fond of politicians in general, no matter which side of the aisle they crouch on), bible idolators who meddle in government, FOX "news", reality TV, fatuous jingoistic disinformation, the last U.S. Administration...see far-right politics above...and turnips; again, not necessarily in that order.

I'm usually friendly, but as I get older, I tend to be less patient with foolishness.

American Diabetes Association.
Favorite Music
Just about all of it. Except C&W, most Gospel, all contemporary Christian "rock" ::: cracks up :::, and with a few exceptions, grand opera.
Favorite TV Shows
PBS News Hour, The Daily Show, The Colbert Report, House, Bones, Flashpoint, NCIS (yeah, weird, innit?), The Office, The Big Bang Theory and So You Think You Can Dance.
Favorite Movies
Oh, Great Zorb. There are too many to mention. Beyond eschewing porn, dubbed martial arts films, sappy romances and excessively vaudevillian slapstick, I'm not particularly discriminating.
Favorite Books
Again, too many to list. We have well over a thousand books in this house. There's barely room for us and the dog.
