I'm a Colorado transplant, taking full advantage of the lifestyle, skiing, hiking, tennis and traveling when the opportunity presents itself. I also lived for short stints in California, New Jersey, and Taiwan. Favorite travel places include Florida, California, hometown visits to Iowa, and lovely Puerto Vallarta. We also enjoyed a wonderful trip to England and Germany over ten years ago; would love to do it again.

I'm a published author and I write historical adventures set in fifteenth century England, and contemporary women's fiction stories. I write a monthly column for the Rocky Mountain Fiction Writers about the writing life. To support my literary habit, I freelance write articles for trade pubs, print and broadcast ads, web content and newsletters.

For the last fifteen years, my husband and I own a small business that makes hand-friendly household openers, great for people with limited finger and/or hand strength due to injury, surgery, arthritis and/or tendon problems.  

I enjoy my wonderful family, husband, John and our two daughters, Jessica (23) at CSU and Jalena (19) at CU. We love traveling together as a family.

Am currently on the injured list (a bad ski fall), in which I sprained my wrist and thumb. I love to learn about ways to live a more healthy life, esp. in the areas of heart health and arthritis, and any activities or regimen that keeps me strong and pain-free.  (But please, don't tell me to quit skiing, LOL)
