To state the obvious, I am not a Boomer. I am a youngin' from the Gen X category (at least I think I am Gen X- I don't think my generations has defined a label as strong as the Boomers have.)
So why Am I here?
Because I work and socialize with Baby Boomers much more then my own generation. I find your wisdom, your openness, you experience and your perspectives fascinating. We share common interests (music and social dance (vintage 19th century to the roaring 20's), history, theater, opera, volunteering.)
You have lived through times that challenged your beliefs of the world. You have worked your way to success- exceeding the generation before you. You have a lot to be admired and appreciated for.
Because I work in Travel I get to hear all sorts of wonderful stories of visits to far off places, fun cruises, and tours of ancient cities. It makes me all the more happy to help you make your Travel dreams come true.
I encourage you to not to be detoured by my age. Embrace me for how much I respect you and who knows maybe there is something you can learn from this youngin'.
