Places I've been

The majority of my life has been spent living in CA including Santa Maria, Los Angeles County, Orange County and San Diego County. At various points in my life I have lived in Florida, TN, Mississippi, Texas, Illinois,and Nevada. I have visited many other states plus Canada, Mexico, Bahamas and Jamaica. There are many places I want to visit,but of course I now want to explore my new state of SC!

Hi Everybody!

I have been away from this site awhile so I now feel like a newbie on this boomer site.I love animals and have a pet Italian Greyhound dog and a black and white cat.I am not married but have a wonderful partner in life ,Jim. I enjoy involvement and helping others.I am so excited that we have moved to Greenville South Carolina from Oceanside CA !

I have a medical background in nursing , not currently working. Unfortuately I contracted Hep C due to a needle stick which was diagnosed 10 yrs ago,then was not able to do direct pt care.So I worked in UR, Managed Care and Audit areas of the Medical Profession.I also have suffered from depression. I have been on soc sec Disability since 2004 but would like to work a few hours a week. Actually I feel like an "up" sort of person and enjoy LIFE thanks to my loving Father God!

I enjoy computer surfing, eating out, cooking, love beaches and mountains and all our beautiful nature which now includes all the beautiful water falls and parks here in Greenville. We are in the foothills of the mountainns and very close to North Carolina (where we originally planned to move). I am now about 100 miles (give or take) from Georgia and TN which are the 2 locations where my 5 wonderful grandchildren liveIam very blessed.
