I grew up a suburbia kid in Arvada. My Dad was transfered during my junior year of high school so we moved to Shawnee Mission, Kansas. I moved to Ft. Collins to attend Colorado State. Moved to Estes Park after graduation and have lived here ever since.

I am involved with the EPHS boys basketball program as the JV coach. I enjoy personal fitness, I ride a bike, run, hike in the park, sno-shoe. I like to play golf. I enjoy doing improvement projects on our home.

Favorite TV Shows
No real specific favorites. I will watch some comedies. I watch some sports, but the amount of advertising you have to endure drives me away. That is why I enjoy high school sports so much, you get to watch the games without being bombarded by ads.
Favorite Movies
My favorite movie of all time is, Cool Hand Luke. My favorite comedy of all time is, Young Frankenstein. I never seem to get to the movie theater to see new releases. I do catch up some seeing a movie on video.
Favorite Books
I read alot but really have no specific favorites. I go to the library, check two or three out, read them up, go and get three new ones. Maybe one does stand out that I have read three or four times because it hits close to home with me and my Dad: Final Rounds by James Dodson. James Dodson the golf writer not James Dobson the religious politician.

Favorite People
My Dad. My friend Jeff who fought cancer for five years with courage and grace. My kids, especially my daughter who is HOH/deaf and approaches each day with joy, happiness, and sense of purpose. She inspires me, isn't it supposed to be the other way around?
Favorite Places
Besides Estes Park????? Golf courses on the Northwest coast of Ireland. A quiet dirt road on my bike anywhere on a summer day.
Favorite Animals
Not really a pet person, although we have two dogs, a cat, and a horse, in and around our house. My favorite animal in the wild is the coyote, lives anywhere, eats anything, a real survivor
