Hi Everyone,

I'm so excited to find this site. It's like receiving a gift every time I find another "boomer" oriented site.

I'm mother to 6, grandmother to 13, great grandmother to 2. I'm a caregiver (previously LPN)for a 98 year old man. I was caring for his wife of 62 years also but she passed in July. 

Helping others is the most wonderful feeling in the world and when I leave this world I hope people will say, "She made a difference."

I'm in shock at the world situation today and wonder if my grandparents felt the same way at the time of the great depression. I love all of the progress and new technology that is available today but it's a pity some basic values have gone by the wayside.

I look forward to each new day and friends I might meet along the way. Also look forward to meeting many folks here on Eons and learning about their lives and opinions, maybe even making a difference here in some small way.
