I was born in Pittsburgh,Pa.to Edith Benson&George W.Herron on July 19th 1953,however,I grew up in Birmingham,Al just like the Secretary of State Condelezza Rice.I left B'ham for good on October 14th 1983 I came back to New York City and stayed until May 24th 2004.After finally receiving my Section 8 then calling different phone numbers to see the apartments,I got disillusioned and decided it was time to take my son's advice and move to New Jersey.Since I been here for almost 4 years I decided it was time for me the go back to school so I did get enrolled online to SouthUniversity.I have chosen to study to become a paralegal,because I am already an activist,but I think I would be much more effective if I had a degree.I feel that I would be more comfortable going to Trenton,NJ and Washington,DC to inform anyone who will listen that the poor,the homeless and those of us like myself are not just crying wolf,we very seriously need more help financially as well as materially and we need additional financial not for luxuries,but for basics necessities.
