I am Jane, just retired after 43 years of teaching high school English language and literature in Jamaica and (for 14 years) in the UK. I have lived most of my life in Jamaica. I have been married (and divorced) twice and am currently happy on my own. I had two children. My son was killed three and a half years ago and my daughter lives at the other end of the island. She has 6 children and my son's two children live in Detroit. I don't see them often enough. I am interested in drama -- writing plays, directing, acting and I write and perform my poetry. I have a reputation for always being happy and able to laugh at most things and am extremely independent. Most people do not know that I am often very lonely.
