The Tour de Cure is an annual fundraising bike race with the American Diabetes Association. The North Shore Tour de Cure is on May 31, 2009, and will take riders along the beautiful Massachusetts coastline, through historic sites and breath-taking country landscapes. From the experienced rider to the casual rider, there is a route designed for you in the North Shore Tour de Cure.
All routes start and finish at the Gloucester High School and include rolling hills and sometime challenging road conditions. A map of the routes can be found here:

All of the routes are fully supported by Tour de Cure Rest Stops and on-the-road Support and Gear (SAG) Vehicles. These volunteers are experienced and trained to assist in maintaining fun and safe conditions for riders. Lunch is provided for cyclists and volunteers and will be served from 12pm - 2pm.
After your Sunday morning ride through the North Shore, join in the post-ride celebration! The hard part is over and now it is time for us to come together and enjoy a festival of music, food and fun focused on healthy choices for active lifestyles. Sign-up, bring a friend or form a team and join the North Shore Tour de Cure family for the 15th year of riding toward a cure!
