More about me

Ten years ago I left the life of administrative assistant to join the community needs.  Seniors were in need of organizing their homes and preparing for a move.  Taking my organizing skills, it seems a perfect fit.

After participating in senior fairs, I realized there was too much information in one place.  In a desire to simplify this situation, I created a book that explained all the types of services important to prepare for aging.  This was not a resource guide since there are too many already avaiilable.  Just knowing what is available, determining what you need and then looking for it was my intention.

Recently I was asked to host a workshop on Living At Home With Low Vision.  This workshop is free right now and twice a month.  Adult children appreciate evening events while the aging parent requires a day time event.  This workshop is prepared to serve both needs.  Nine years ago I was diagnosed with a visual impairment and understanding the desire to say inependent, it seemed a good fit.

Making home feel like home should be a goal at any age but especially as we age.  To compliment this, I put together another guide with many of the same chapters as the other with slight addition.  In addition, I provide shopping services on the Internet.  Finding what you need on the budget you have, can be time-consuming.  My passion is to simplify your life and this is just another aspect.
