Thunder Bay Resort is home of the nationally acclaimed Elk Viewing, Carriage/Sleigh Ride and Gourmet Dinner with Wine Tasting.
We are located in Hillman, Michigan about 20 miles west of Alpena.
We offer a variety of unique experiences that highlight the region’s pure beauty. We have added activities to the Elk Viewing Dinner weekend packages to create Quilting and Scrapbooking Retreats, Murder Mystery Weekends, Group Tour Adventures, and Destination Weddings.
During the stay guests can relax in our comfortable Suites, Villas or Chalets which include a living room and a deck overlooking the golf course. We also offer a state-of-the-art, full service RV Park and a beautiful 18-hole golf course carved out of the forest that offers an affordable challenge for the full range of golfers. - Activities
