It has taken me a while to get to editing my personal info! I am an elementary technology teacher, married for 40 years (same guy!), mom of 3, grandmom of 4, and staunch Roman Catholic. I enjoy boating,gardening, music, computing and READING! In fact, I was a reading teacher for 8 years and switched when a tech job opened up. I have also been a secretary/office manager, writer, library assistant.
I have loved the era in which we grew up and took our places as adults! I have also loved the historic era before us, the thirties to the forties. My favorite XM channel is the Forties, followed by 60's, 50's and Frank's Place. I also like the Disney Radio, so I can keep up with my young granddaughters and grandson. Isn't it nice to hear a popular hit of today and know the words and music because it's a restrike of one of our songs!
Special areas of interest to me are: Christmas, technology, music (Peter, Paul and Mary, Bing Crosby, Rosemary Clooney, Andrews Sisters, Dan Fogelberg, John Denver, Beach Boys plus more!), travel (going to Canadian Rockies this summer!), four seasons (Fall is favorite) and education.
