I'm really a GRITS (girl raised in the south) but have lived in Illinois for 27 years. Four children live with me + two live in NC + one lives in CA + one lives with dad = Eight - seven boys and one girl. I agree with the sitcom - eight IS enough. I have worked as a custodian for a school district for the last eight years. I have gone through many changes the last 3 years but I can honestly say I am very happy and content.
