More about me: I am a 58 year old retired teacher with 2 daughters, 3 sons, and 7 grandchildren. I now have a small business called "Jana-Banana", making women's bags and accessories which I sell in two boutiques and by word of mouth.
Activities: I work out regularly at the local health club with a personal trainer and one of my 3 sisters. I also work at the service desk there 2 days a week, volunteer in my church's soup kitchen, volunteer in my grand kids' classrooms, enjoy their sports activities, and help my 81 year old mother who still lives in the home where we were raised.
Favorite Music: I like all kinds of music from country to blues to rock and roll to hip hop. Some of my favorites are Etta James, KD Lang, BB King, and Joss Stone. I would give my eye teeth to see The Stones live in concert!!
Favorite TV Shows: I enjoy pretty much anything on HGTV, The Office, Boston Legal, reruns of NYPD Blue and The Sopranos, and I just got hooked on a new show called Breaking Bad. I am a huge nut for American Idol!
Favorite Movies: Shawshank Redemption, Stand by Me, Fargo, A Christmas Story, ET
Favorite Books: A Prayer for Owen Meany, anything by Stephen King, The Secret Life of Bees, ...I could go on and on there are so many wonderful books.
