I was born in New Orleans, Louisiana, and have lived my whole life in the area. My family and I are Katrina survivors who couldn't imagine living anywhere else, so we came back as soon as we were allowed and rebuilt our home. But I don't think I would ever do that again...and hope and pray we never have to.

I retired in March of 2007 and have never looked back. My kids wanted to know what I was going to do to keep myself busy...who wants to be busy after working the night shift for 15 years...I'd rather have a nap!

Activities
The Internet is one of my favorite pasttime activities. I hope to start scrapbooking soon, also. For Christmas I received several things to help me with those projects
Favorite Charities
My favorite places to donate are the Franciscan Missions to St.Anthony's Bread. My favorite charity is now the American Red Cross for all the help they gave me and my family after the Katrina disaster

The Eagles, Toby Keith, music from the 40's, 50's and 60's
Favorite TV Shows
My favorites are the TLC shows and the various news shows. On regular TV I love The Office.
