My educational background includes a Master's Degree in Speech Communication, a Bachelor's Degree in Finance with double minors in Professional Writing and Public Relations and several Associate Degrees. Master's and Bachelor's Degrees were earned from Eastern Illinois University in Charleston, IL.

Recently retired from teaching (public speaking) on the university level. Was previously in healthcare public relations for several years. 

Am currently the primary caretaker for my husband who has ALS. That takes all my time now.

We have three cats who keep us company: Asia and Tabitha, both Ragdolls, and Angel, our devil cat. Asia and Tabitha are laid back, easy going; Angel is into positively everything, most notably anything water (sink, shower, toilet, coffee cups and water glasses left where she can see them, etc.).
Activities
Country music, using my digital camera, traveling, sewing, flower gardening -- in no certain order.
Favorite Animals
Ragdoll cats have become somewhat of a passion. Was first introduced to ragdolls a year or so ago. We have two now that we couldn't do without.
