I have started this "about me" many times and I still just don't know what to write....but here goes. 

I live in the country because I like my privacy and my dogs have room to run.  I like to sit quietly on my porch and see deer in my yard at dusk.  I read books about things I am interested in.  I think about installing solar panels and being "off the grid", growing my own food in my garden, rug weaving starting with a sheep, raising chickens, and what it would really take to be self-sufficient.   I am a recovering "Law & Order" addict and I still watch too much TV.  I don't always fit in but I always get along.

I am learning, teaching, searching, finding, happy and sad...still at this age.  I am me (whatever that is) and I hope I never grow up.
