Chain Maille and beading with gemstones, glass, sterling and pewter has been my most recent creative outlet. Prior to that it was stained glass, weaving and quilting. After retiring in December from working with medical device manufacturers and the FDA, I'm taking a stab at starting a small business which centers around my jewelry making - quite a switch. And let me say it is total enjoyment. I'm selling in two spots right now and hope to add a few more stores in the next 6 months.
Grandchild #5 is on the way and I plan to enjoy his first few months up close and personal. Timing is perfect and the holdiday sale time should be behind us when he makes his entrance.
When I'm not beading....yoga, hiking, babysitting the grandkids and cooking occupy a fair amout of my time. And then there's the garden. Retirement rocks!
