More about me
Oh gosh...I love flowers, gardening, dogs...and traveling...since I've been bothered with the arthritis and depression I've not been able to do the things I want to do....travel is about the first love of mine.  I want to get out to CA to visit family and friends there.   I'm getting an epidural this morning...lower spine..hoping it helps the pain.
Activities
golfing...well, if I can golf again..will try after the epidural..I'm getting my last shots on the 20th..need prayer for those to kick in. I love boating..being at the beach, just walking, taking photographs, mostly of flowers or scenery..I like to volunteer at the local hospital..knowing that helping others helps ourselves, but I've been unable..(or unwilling?) to get out of my own space recently. I love to travel..anywhere..love to visit my sister in Maryland...and her family..hmm..love being with people and don't like being alone much. Gardening is fun..hoping the weather warms up enough to start that soon.
Favorite Charities
Anything that benefits dogs..SPCA...homeless dog foundations...breast cancer..hmm..must think of some others.
Favorite Music
country...years ago when my daughter was first in the Air Force she was station in Tucson...and I heard my first really great country western song...have loved that music ever since.
Favorite TV Shows
Monk, The Mentalist...always love to see re-runs of Everybody Loves Raymond...and Seinfeld...like to watch the NCIS..CSI crime shows ...and of course, Grey's Anatomy..and Friday Night Lights.
Favorite Movies
Don't go much...but am wanting to see some of the new ones...Gran Torino with Clint Eastwood and a couple others that are now playing.
Favorite Books
Anything that Nora Roberts writes...Belva Plain is a favorite also. James Patterson is great...Robin Cook ...and of course, Nicholas Sparks.
