Sacramento area is where I grew up. I've lived in Half Moon Bay, El Granada, Gridley (Kiwi capital of the US), and Oroville, all in Northern California. In Utah, I have lived in Helper, Price, Pleasant Grove, Orem, Salt Lake City and Provo. I've traveled through most of the states within the United States, except the Northeast part. I have vacationed in Hawaii several times, as well as Dallas, Chicago, New York City, San Francisco, Phoenix, Tombstone and Houston.

- More about me
-
I have 3 sons and 1 daughter. I have 6 grandchildren, who are scattered all over Utah. My youngest son lives in Salt Lake City with his beautiful wife and my "grand dogs" and "grand cat". My oldest son passed away 10 years ago. My other son and my daughter live in the same town that I do.
I believe getting older is a gift. Well, maybe not the wrinkles or the creaks I hear from my knees. I have accepted that I will never have the same rear as Jennifer Lopez. I probably won't be doing any summersaults in the near future, unless it is by chance. My priorities have changed and I am not so hard on myself. The world won't end because my bed is not made or my floor is not mopped.
I am blessed to have lived long enough to have my hair turning grey, (I guess it must be, but Color Silk hair dye, in medium blond takes care of that) and to laugh at what I like. I care less about what people think. As I have gotten older, the experiences I've gone through have made me a more positive person.
I have had time to become the trivia queen as well as the princess of procrastination. I am happy with the person I have become. I still love to help people in any way I can and I think that is why we are here. I will always defend those who cannot fight back.
I love going to the beach and try to go several times a year, if I can swing it. To me, the beach equals peace and serenity.
