Just another ol' Hippie tryin' to enjoy life, learn a few things along the way, and make the world a better place where we can all live in peace.  I am a proud progressive liberal, and believe that EVERYONE should be involved in the politics of this country - read, register, vote, and respond to your reps!  I love music - rock & roll, blues, jazz, even classical... but  NOT country/western twang!

I have Masters & Bachelors degrees in Psychology, and work for the Michigan Dept. of Education, Office of Special Ed. & Early Intervention Services, in Lansing. (Yes, it IS a L-O-N-G drive from Augusta... ) I've always worked in educational settings, esp. with families, parents & kids. (Yep, I even like toddlers & teenagers!!)

I'm interested in hearing from old & new friends who don't have anything to SELL, aren't into WHINING, still have some fascination for LIFE, and who still believe that all human beings are basically good folks facing many different struggles that shape who we turn out to be.
