The Texas Hill Country is my home. I have lived in the country as well as the city. Other places lived: Washington DC, Durham, NC., other places in Texas.
I have been in every state except Utah, Michigan, Wisconsin.
I have traveled to France twice, Italy, Greece, England, Scotland, Mexico, the Caribean, Canada
I have many interests and am never bored. There is never enough time to do all I love to do. Some of my interests: politics (yellow dog Democrat), the arts - especially music and architecture, travel (many places yet to visit), reading, gardening. I have a family, 5 grandchildren, and a frail 94 year old mother whose mind is still very spry. I enjoy the internet, but do not have a lot of time to blog. I don't watch much television, but love the big professional tennis tournaments, golf (if Tiger is playing), and figure skating contests, plus the Olympics.
