Welcome to my world!

I'm a mom to a wonderful son named Dan, the light of my life.
I'm a mom-in-law to Melissa, the daughter I would have chosen to give birth to.
I'm Nonni to Jack, my grandson, the song in my heart.
They are my beacons of light that keep me grounded.

I really love the whole idea of these SKITS on eons and getting to meet people that I've been writing to every day and getting to know.  I've met some of the best friends of my life here.

I love lighthouses, as you can see. I love music, the ocean, westerns, reading, writing short stories and poetry (strictly amateurish). I'm an ironing freak...every Sunday, there I am, ironing and catching up on all the crap stored in my DVR that I didn't watch all week because I was too busy on eons!!

I hope you enjoy my music, it's all of my favorites. I'm a little bit country, a little bit rock-n-roll (Classic rock), and a whole lot of folk music and Celtic music.

I have just put my condo up for sale and am hoping that it sells fast and then I start a whole new chapter of my life. 

 

Lighthouse collecting, I have so many lighthouses in my house, it could be a museum. I collect everything from paintings, to ceramics to soap, towels, night lights, silverware, etc..you get the idea. Other activities I enjoy, walking along the beach, reading, writing short stories and poetry, cooking, and baking.

The Outlander Series by Diana Gabaldon, Lonesome Dove and Comanche Moon by Larry McMurtry, Centennial by James Michener, all the Louis L'Amour novels, Bridges of Madison County by Robert James Waller, all the John Jakes series of The Bastard, The Rebels, The Seekers, etc. I also like reading biographies and historical books.

my mom, my family, single moms and dads out there who struggle and sacrifice daily to raise their kids to be outstanding citizens of the world and some eons members who know who they are and have added so much to my life.
